Considered a premier stadium, when it comes to the very best in architectural design, the stadium and the locals can hardly wait to be a part of NFL's big event. Business Week Magazine noted the University of Phoenix Stadium as one of the 10 "most impressive" sports facilities in the world because of the combination of the retractable roof along with the roll-in natural grass field. This is the only stadium in North America with such a stadium as this one.
With more than 300 days of sunshine every year in Arizona, the Stadium's roof will likely be open during the 2008 Super Bowl, weather permitting. The upcoming Super Bowl in 2008, will be only the second game in Super Bowl history with a retractable roof. The average temperature in Arizona in February is a comfortable 70 degrees.
