How soon is to soon to tell what the next NFL playoff schedule will look like? Who are the likely contenders, this season, for the prized NFL super bowl rings? I suppose at this point in time it is anybody's guess as to which team will soar above the rest and make it on to the NFL playoff schedule let alone into the next NFL super bowl game. Patience was never one of my... Read More
Feuds in all sports help drive competition. They are great and can be between teams, conferences or players. I wanted to list some of the greatest feuds seen through the history of the NFL playoff schedule and NFL Super Bowl so here is a list of my favorites below: New England Patriots and Chicago Bears - Most recently seen, these two eastern... Hockey is grinding and shooting out its last games. Baseball is pitching its brand of sporting entertainment. Basketball has bounced us around long enough. And soccer? Yeah, it's a kick, but none of the aforementioned pro sports have the gut wrenching crunch or the aerial ballet of pro football.
Of course, the holy grail of football is a super bowl ticket, but they remain... Read More

If you ever look into the Baltimore Ravens' history of draft picks I think you'll find that they've been one of the more successful pro football teams when it comes to retaining their college draft picks. In fact, the Ravens have the highest percentage (68.6) of active players they've drafted than any other team in the league, an impressive accomplishment, considering how... Read More
For any NFL fans that were hoping to see the Bengals make the NFL playoff schedule next season, I wouldn’t put any money on it. Chad Johnson a few weeks back went live on ESPN to talk about his concerns with the team. He said that he had opted out of some early strength training practices because he was not happy with his contract. Fans and Cincinnati coaches were left... Read More

The Chicago Bears have been in negotiations with two of their defensive powerhouses, Brian Urlacher and Tommie Harris. These are two players that may be their Super Bowl ticket next season. The problem Bear heads are having is that linebacker Urlacher has a 56 million dollar contract with the team up until 2011 but wants that deal to be renegotiated in his favor. That 56... Read More
Chad Johnson or Cinco Ocho has made NFL news recently because of his decisions not to show up for Bengals practice. He has since talked with ESPN sportscasters over the phone and left quotes like “There are a lot of issues that need to be dealt with. Nothing has changed (Current TV).” Chad Johnson wants a new home so maybe he can make the NFL playoff schedule next year.... Read More with Video
I want to talk about a select few teams that did not make the NFL Playoff Schedule last season but should this season. I am talking about just a few teams who had decent winning schedules but kind of got screwed in the end. One team in particular that immediately comes to mind is the Cleveland Browns—a team that finished as 10-6 just like the NY Giants. A team that is... Read More
There has been much talk these days about the possibility of the NFL playoff schedule moving to a 14 team system. Many people are for this and it seems that an equal amount of them are also against this type of change taking place in the NFL playoff schedule. But why is this so split down the middle? Personally I am in favor of a 14 team NFL playoff schedule for several... Read More
There has been much talk these days about the possibility of the NFL playoff schedule moving to a 14 team system. Many people are for this and it seems that an equal amount of them are also against this type of change taking place in the NFL playoff schedule. But why is this so split down the middle? Personally I am in favor of a 14 team NFL playoff schedule for several reasons as follows:
A 14 team NFL playoff schedule would mean more teams not getting duped out of a playoff berth. Like the Browns who went 10-6 last season but did not go, whereas the Giants when 10-6 and went all the way.
As the NFL expands they will have to expand the NFL playoff schedule. With several teams talking about potential franchise expansions in the coming years, we would ultimately need to expand the NFL playoff schedule to make room.
It would make for a far more interesting NFL playoff schedule, considering you would have two more games to play in the Wild Cards as well as the Divisional—making it seem much more difficult for a team to actually make it all the way.
There are some new rules coming to the fore in the NFL Playoff schedule, which basically state that all teams who have the highest number of wins at the end of the regular season will be the teams that get awarded a first-round bye week and of course home-field advantage. So this could eradicate some teams who prefer to bench most of their starting players once they have... Read More
In what many NFL fans have considered a huge NFC West division game, the Arizona Cardinals have almost been beat by the Seattle Seahawks in today's afternoon game that just recently started the third quarter. The score as of now is the Seahawks 27 and the Cardinals 7. This is a huge game for both teams because the outcome will have an effect on this season's NFL playoff... Read More
With 5 NFL games to be played before the NFL playoff schedule the picture of which two teams will be playing in the NFL Super Bowl is still hazy to say the least. I thought the New England Patriots were a lock to make the NFL Super Bowl but after this past Sunday's game I am not so certain. Sure they won the game but the Eagles exposed a couple weaknesses in the Patriot's... Read More
As we near closer and closer to the determining which teams are bound for the NFL playoff schedule there is one prominent question in the mind of sports fans everywhere. Can the New England Patriots, led by Tom Brady, enter the NFL playoff schedule as an undefeated team? If so this would be the first time since the 72' Dolphins entered the NFL playoff schedule with a... Read More

I am a fan of the Seattle Seahawks but after Sunday's game I am not sure if Hasselback and Alexander have what it takes to make the NFL Super Bowl this year. The Cardinals went head to head in their Stadium on Sunday after a disappointing first game loss to the 49ers. The ending of this game was somewhat similar to how the Cardinals lost to the...
